“Nothing is more priceless and more worthy of preservation than the rich array of animal life with which our country has been blessed." - President Richard Nixon
This year, the Endangered Species Act celebrates the 40th anniversary since President Nixon signed it into law in 1973. This act has proven to be critical to the survival of our nation's wildlife with a 90 percent species recovery rate. Check out 110 inspiring success stories of species that are making a comeback from the brink of extinction.
However, the act has come under attack and Congress may put the Endangered Species Act up for reauthorization. In response, we are recruiting bold leaders who want to send their representatives a message written in ink that this act is here to stay.

1) Select your favorite local endangered species.

3) Fundraise for your very own tattoo of your species and join the ranks of Tatzoo Nation. Your story and a photo of your tattoo will be sent directly to your representative in support of the Endangered Species Act.
